The scope of application of this standard:


This part of GB/T 3884 specifies the ion chromatography method for the determination of fluorine and chlorine content in copper concentrates.


This part is applicable to the determination of fluorine and chlorine content in copper concentrate. The measurement range is: 0.005%~0.50% for fluorine and 0.01%~0.50% for chlorine.


Note: The chlorine measured in this standard refers to acid leaching chlorine.


The methodological principles on which this standard is based:


The sample is decomposed by sulfuric acid, and the fluorine and chlorine in it are separated from the sample with the escape of water vapor, absorbed by the absorption liquid, and determined by ion chromatography. Qualitative by retention time, quantitative by working curve method.

4.1 Ion chromatograph: with conductivity detector.
